I have come to the conclusion that there should be specific hairstyles associated with specific jobs in America. Like in feudal Japan, where all samurai and only samurai wore the topknot.
I have also decided that the official hairstyle of scholarly film studies should be the mullet.
Then, like when Kambei cuts his topknot in “Seven Samurai,” [...]
